Ops on Tour - Rigging

We're heading 'up' on tour!

  This autumn, The Ops Nest is going up – literally. 

Rigging is one of the most important (and often misunderstood) parts of live events. 

This is your chance to get hands-on. From cables and beams to canopies and flown features, we’ll take you behind the scenes and above the show floor to understand how we can design better with rigging.  

Coventry Building Society Arena are our host and will be joined by expert Steve Olley of Viking Event Production Services to put us through our paces on rigging principles, complex structures and working at height, followed by a creative workshop to demonstrate just how creative rigging can get - you'll be surprised!

  This day isn’t just about how things 'hang', it’s about how to design smarter, more cohesive events that use every inch of space. You’ll leave not just understanding rigging, but inspired to see height as a creative tool in your ops toolkit.
